Zootopia Review

This month I am doing a review on the children's movie, Zootopia. This animated movie first aired on March 4, 2016 and recently was the Oscar winner for Animated Feature Film. Zootopia can be enjoyed by all ages and sexes and provides valuable life lessons that are good for children, but also adults.
While Zootopia is often chosen as a movie to watch because of its cuteness, the meaning within the film goes much deeper than it may appear. Judy Hopps, the officer bunny, is faced with struggles throughout her life. Since she was a baby, her dreams were to move to Zootopia and be a top officer. However, no one, including her family, believed she would be able to be a police officer. She was just too small. Judy did not pay attention to everyone's doubt and believed in her abilities. She went through police school, moved to Zootopia and joined the police department. She quickly got involved to crack a case that many officers before had failed. Long story short, Officer Hopps solved the case and saved the city from the mad-infected animals.  Many people can learn from Judy Hopps. In everyone's life, there will be certain people who will never believe in them. These people will be discouraging and will never be there as support. Just like Officer Hopps, a person can not listen to everybody else and be affected by what they say. In order to be successful, a person must take all those negative words said about their choices, and turn them into motivation to prove all of those  questioning people wrong just like Judy Hopps had in Zootopia.
There is not much wrong with the film Zootopia. However, if a parent is reading this blog, be informed that a few parts of this movie may be scary to children. One scene takes place at an evil laboratory where the bad animals are hunting down Judy and a few other of her helpers. None of the animals are hurt in this scene, however, it gives off a spooky feeling.Besides this scene, the rest of Zootopia is very cute and enjoyable to watch.
If you are looking for a pleasurable and entertaining movie to watch with your children, spouse, or friends, I highly recommend  Zootopia as an option. Not only will you have a good time watching the adorable movie, but as mentioned above, Zootopia teaches many lessons within the film that are very useful to anyone's life.
If you are interested in learning what top brand names think about the movie, listed below are just a few reviews I have found on Zootopia,
-"Just when it was looking like animated animal movies had run out of anything original to say, along comes the smartly amusing, crisply relevant Zootopia to handily demonstrate there's still plenty of bite left in the anthropomorphic CG menagerie," Hollywood Reporter.
- "Simply put, Zootopia is about what it means to be suspicious of somebody else, simply because of who they are, and by situating that story among animals — who already have natural, antagonistic predator-prey relationships — it can explore that dynamic without feeling preachy,"Vox.

Top Three Family Dog Breeds

For this month I am doing a co-post with my fellow dog lovers who run the blogs “Redamancy” by Taryn, and “Love Is a Four Legged Word” by Madison.
The third best family dog is a Golden Retriever. The best traits about the Golden Retriever is their natural looking, athletic ability. Goldens are cheerful and very loving, perfect for families with young children or babies. When they do bark it is welcoming and warm rather than protective. They may need toys to chew and play with, but in the end we can say that they are very eager to please and willing to learn good manners or tricks. These retrievers provide a healthy relationship for any age and can even be used as service dogs or companions.
The second best dog is the German Shepherd. These dogs are known as the most loyal and loving dogs around. Their loyalty is often put to work in police work, military, and as guard dogs. Not only are they very smart and well behaved,  they are gentle enough for families with children of any age. Some families even feel that the German Shepherd shows signs of protection for their children. They do not require a lot of  maintenance but do need a large amount of exercise within their daily routine. Therefore, a city environment would not best suit the needs of a German Shepherd.
The top rated dog for families is the Labrador Retriever. They have obtained the number one spot on AKC's list of top dogs since 2002. Not only do they have a gorgeous appeal, they have exquisite behavior. They are well known for their patience, along with their many other qualities such as friendliness, intelligence, and their relaxed temperament. Labradors are mainly used as hunting dogs, however, they are great family dogs as well. They require lots of exercise and are considered the athletes of the dog world.

The Golden Retriever, German Shepherd, and the Labrador Retriever all show outstanding, similar characteristics for amazing family dogs. All these dogs require lots of room to run and exercise to be happy and healthy. They are all great options for families to consider who are interested in a four legged friend.  However, keep in mind that not all dogs are exactly like we have explained above. A dog’s background influences their behavior immensely. In order to find the ideal dog for your family, you have to be willing to take time and research what will best fit each person's needs in your family. Thanksgiving Turkey

Hi! I am glad you could join me again this month. I am going to inform you about the history of the turkey. I have decided to write about the turkey because it is almost Thanksgiving. Turkey is a traditional meal served on Thanksgiving Day. That being said, I would not want it any other way. Turkey is delicious! In this blog you will learn all about the history of why people eat turkey on Thanksgiving. Plus many fun and interesting facts about turkey.

Did you know that no one really knows why the turkey was the chosen meal for Thanksgiving. However, historians have a few theories of why the turkey was chosen. One theory historians have established starts with the early pilgrim settlers. Theory has it that the pilgrims came to America and ate the first Thanksgiving dinner with the Wampanoag Indians. Their meal consisted of beef and fowl, a gallinaceous bird. Historians do not know for sure which type of bird was served; however, a written letter by Edward Winslow, a pilgrim, mentioned a turkey hunting trip that took place prior to the first Thanksgiving meal.

Another theory historians have created attributes to the Queen of England. Theory has it, that while Queen Elizabeth was eating dinner one night during the 16th century, Spanish battleships sunk on their mission to attack England. After hearing this news, Queen Elizabeth was so happy that she ordered another goose for dinner. However, she was served turkey in exchange for a goose.

DID YOU KNOW.....

  • Benjamin Franklin believed the turkey was more suitable to be the national bird of the United States, rather than the bald eagle.
  • Each individual turkey has a specific voice allowing them to recognize each other.
  • Domesticated turkeys are unable to fly, however, wild turkeys can fly for short distances at a time.
  • The snood on a turkey is the long fleshy piece of skin that dangles over a male's beak.
  • Turkeys consist of 5000 to 6000 feathers.
  • Turkey is enjoyed all around the world.
  • Turkeys are very intelligent and social animals.
  • The bare skin on the turkeys throats changes colors depending on levels of stress and excitement. When the turkey's skin turns blue, they are excited. Alrhough, when their skin turns red, they are stressed out.
  • In ancient Mexico cultures the turkey was considered sacred and often referred to as "jewelled birds" by the Aztecs.
I hope all of you reader going this information as interesting as I did! May all of your Thanksgivings be  great and full with turkey! Join me back here in a month to read all about a new and interesting animal.

Hi! Welcome to the blog that will tell you all about animals. First, I will inform you a little about myself. My name is Danielle and I'm just like any other blogger. I have a regular daily routine consisting of school, sports, and family time. Not only do I enjoy spending time with my family, I also love spending time with my animals! I have three dog and two cats that mean the world to me and I love dearly!

I'm starting a blog on animals because who wouldn't want to talk about adorable, loving, interesting animals? Animals are beautiful creatures brought to this Earth to help the environment and give humans the friendships that are unbreakable!

Many of you viewer might be wondering what oenomel means. Oenomel ithe combing of strength with sweetness. In my opinion, this describes animals perfectly! Animals are some of the strongest creatures you will meet in your life, however they are sweet and care for humans just as much as humans care for them. Unlike humans, animals do not care what you look like, how you act, or what color of hair you have. They will love you unconditional and that is what makes animals so special.

Join me back here in roughly a month for my first blog on animals!
